One of my least favorite tropes in fantasy is a "deity of chaos" who just fucks with people and ruins lives instead of embodying any of the positive aspects of randomness like how other deities embody the positive aspects of things. It just feels a bit unfair towards chaos as a concept to portray it as purely negative and evil. Even though I feel like that's how this character is might be like, I think I've seen and enjoyed enough of your work to trust that you might have a fresher take on this idea than what I'm imagining. Looking forward to it.

I hope to please, and thank you for your trust on this. Admittedly she may be a more standard chaos goddess in many aspects on the surface, but there are a few things I have planned with her I hope will make her stand out.

In the end, chaos is not good or evil. Chaos simply is.

And I understand that chaos isn't moralistic the way some things are but I guess what I'm saying is random chance occurrences can be helpful sometimes so I always found it weird when the embodiment of chaos is just an asshole who never helps.
