Belloda -  CranburrofSoda


Stopping at a town for respite, Belloda and Emine make rest at an inn. However, Belloda notices some of the townsfolk packing up their belongings onto wagons, preparing to leave the village.
While at the inn, Emine hears rumours that the village was doomed to be raided by a large group of bandits that have cause them trouble over the past few months.

Not wanting the town to be ravaged and destroyed, Belloda, with Emine's permission, offered her assistance to the town guard. Though happy there was some more help, the captain and his lieutenant were gloomy, as they mention that there were rumours that these bandits might have some Abyssal deathbringer warriors assisting them. Likely to see if their clan was worthy of serving their Gods..

After a long worrisome night, Belloda was woken up by one of the guards who said the troops were readying up, as today was apparently the day the bandit raid would happen.
As the Dawn began, the sun radiantly shining a bright red, in the distance, the bandit raiders could be seen, along with three towering ghastly figures..
A Deathbringer war chief riding on a ghastly beast, with two deathbringers marching beside him, as the bandits followed suit, the leader of these thieving raiders alongside them.
The Deathbringer war chief proceeded to hold a deformed war horn from his hip, as he blew his horn loudly. A haunting war cry as the deathbringers beside him gave a horrid beastly roar that could be heard all the way to town, with the clan of bandits roaring their battle cries alongside them.
The deathbringers charging forth as the bandits joined them, the deathbringer war chief staying behind, observing the battlefield from afar.

The town guardsmen terrified, the captain attempted to boost their morale with an inspiring speech, as he soon orders his men to charge, with him leading the charge. Belloda joining them as she pulls her sword out.
Both forces running at each other like fierce waves, the forces clashed together, swords, maces, shields banging and striking as the first blows are struck. Belloda began chopping down the bandits before her, one by one they fell, slicing and chopping the bastards as they kept coming. However, she would suffer some strikes, and even get surrounded, Parts of her armour damaged and falling off as she would be scared and cut here and there.
Enraged, she retaliated against her aggressors with ease, until he would hear a crazed roar nearby..

Turning towards the noise, she would see one of the deathbringers, as the fiend proceeded to smash and chop away the guards like mere sacks of bloodied meat. Angered by this, she would charge forth towards the towering warrior. Noticing her approach, the deathbringer would make a defensive position, as the enraged shark quickly approached, quickly swinging, Belloda managed to duck in time as she slashed at the abyssal warrior's side.
Growling in pain, he would quickly swing back, striking at Belloda's shoulder, scraping away some of her skin as she yelped. They traded blows, before the deathbringer attempted to slam his dull yet jagged greatsword onto Belloda, as she quickly ducks out of the way and stabbing the bastard through his armpit and into his chest. Gasping once, the towering beastly warrior stuttered a bit, before roaring painfully and attempted to chop off Belloda's head, but she quickly backed away in time as she quickly went for the kill!
Stabbing the deathbringer through the throat, then forcing her sword to slice off half his neck, the beast of a man gasping painfully as she swung her sword back to chop the rest of his head off.

Winded, she soon noticed some of the guardsmen impaling the other deathbringer as this one continued swinging his club like a mad beast. Finding the right time, Belloda proceeded to lunge up in the air, aiming to chop the psychotic warrior's head off, the last thing the creature would see..
After a long battle, the last of the bandits were either caught or ran away, all while in the distance, the deathbringer war chief watched in disappointment as the bandit leader came back grovelling to the war chief, begging for his aid.. The war chief, raising his spear, proceeded to impale the bandit through the chest, rising him in the air and resting the spear against his shoulder, the war chief would carry the leader away as he walked off into the forest, abandoning the bandits who wished to join the Abyssal Gods' armies.

Wanting to chase down the war chief, Belloda was quickly stopped by the lieutenant, pointing out how exhausted she and all the guardsmen were after the fierce battle.
Annoyed by this, she decided it was best not to pursue the hulking deathbringer, she would instead help out with the surviving town guards.
Though a harsh battle, with many guards and troops losing their lives or being heavily injured, the town was saved. The townsfolk would hold a celebration, to which Belloda would be invited, for aiding in the protection of the town.
A long, happy and merry night, full of singing, dancing and cheering, Emine enjoying the festivities. All while Belloda had concerns on her mind, as Emine would notice this and try her best to cheer her up, persuading Belloda to join in the celebrating. As they both along with the town cheered in victory and in memory for those who gave their lives, to protect their family and loved ones.
