Behold the terror that Barks in the night, the hound who sniffs out the rabbit of Reprobates, the good boy who helps you across the street and the canine combatant of crime, Guard-Dog!
When offce worker Owen Barker decides to explore things of an after dark nature, he enteres into one of those shops and picks up a mask that seems to speak to him on some level.
Little did he know that when placing the mask upon his face, a staggering transformation occours! Imbuled with the strength, stamina, agility and iron will of a male dog sensing a bitch in heat, Guard-Dog romes the streets fighting off evil doers, providing surprisingly insightful advice and opinons to those in emotional turmoil and above all, seaking out ways to help others to ensure he remains forever, the Goodest of boys in order to obtain his reward!
Various other powers exist of course, but adding them to the above ruins the flow of the synopsis, so perhaps a reference oneday?

I'm approchaing it like Miraculous jewlery from Miraculous Ladybug. Old magic that changes to fit the time period. Like say it was the 12th century it'd be a more standard mask type thing, 18th regency period more akin to those fancy porcelin masks for balls, now adays it's a bit more kinky heh.
They become good boys until they come out of the trance, so to speak
