This is an attempt at a remaster, editing her lore, doodling her again for fun. Here is a more formalized and organized of my favorite citizen soldier.

Description
Carina is a corporal in the Sturis National Army in 1938, with dreams of rising to the rank of Sergeant. She belongs to the 1st squad of the 11th Regiment, B Company, 3rd Grenadiers. She is nothing but trouble to the COs due to informal fraternization with other soldiers and is always seen the next couple of days later laboring with logistical emplacements as a part of her punishment.

Biography
Carina was born on April 2nd, 1919 in Höstfelt Sturis. The town of Höstfelt rests in the mountains, along the perfect plains to set up a trading network way back in the day. Her mother Jin Holms, an Ex-skieyen citizen who escaped the ethnic cleansing in 1902, and her father Pierre Holms a machinist. She befriended Jack Lafayette, her best friend and motorcyclist. Often traveling to watch him compete in races and get plenty of rides to school since she never learned to drive. By 1938, the War in Esaxia had erupted as Soteron invaded Vaswain. Factions were formed but Sturis was on the sidelines. Until November 19th, 1940 when Ravaria bombed Sapphire Cove and wiped out the navy and the oil supply, leaving the island unprotected. Carina was swept into the armed forces, volunteering to fight, and was sworn in the next day. Carina, now integrated with the newly formed 3rd Grenadiers, will fight in Dreoyae, Esnela, Rusnea, and participate in the largest invasion of Vaswain via the coast and plunge deep into the heart of Soteron. Wounded five times with no other medals than injury badges. Carina would stay until she was discharged in 1947. She will never know that other Ravarians like herself were interned at home until the war’s end. She’s the young soldier with a heart of gold, witty in the face of danger and death, mischievous, and just trying to make the rank of Sergeant. (She will achieve this in Vaswain but unfortunately will lose her stripes when she smashed a transport truck into a telephone pole in 1946 during the Allied occupation of Soteron).
