I can just imagine that when this floof bids you "sweet dreams", it's not an idle gesture, but a promise. Cuddling up to them inducing a deep, peaceful, warm & comforted, restful slumber as they weave you an idyllic dream and ward off would-be nightmares.
And by morning, in your arms you find a stuffie resembling them, as if they were but a dream themselves, but that you would keep with you as a talisman of sorts, to guard your dreams forevermore...
