Welcome the newest Badge in our collection, this time for the lovely Blackpoint187, a good friend and supporter of the community!^^ He has such an adorable and awesomely designed fluffy dragon as a Sona that I really looked forward to drawing in my style!
I can't express how much I enjoyed the process of this piece! Not only do I like the colour scheme and playing around with different shades of green as well as shading and highlighting for the fur but I also like how happy the smile turned out, here^^ Truly makes me want to join in smiling! I think, especially with dark gray or black furred characters, it's important to bring a bit more variety and texture into the fur, so it doesn't end up looking like one big blob of darkness. I think I managed here and I'm proud of it! But what do you think? Does he look fluffy and vivid enough? Leave your thoughts in the comment!
