Some of the aircraft I saw over the weekend at the air show out in Temora.
Here you can see a:
Bell UH-1 Iroquois "Huey" helicopter belonging to the Royal Australian Navy Historic Flight. Easily my favourite next to the Spitfire.
Supermarine Spitfire Mk. XVI, one of the few flying Spitfires in existence. That Merlin engine noise is beautiful. The Tiger Moth could barely keep up with the Spitfire's slowest speeds.
de Havilland DH 82 Tiger Moth, the beautiful yellow biplane that did some streamer cutting for us. It is also posing next to its birthday cake.
Avon Sabre, an Australian variant of the North American Aviation F-86F Sabre fighter aircraft. It basically souped up the American jet with a lighter, more powerful Rolls-Royce Avon R.A.7 as well as changing armament and increasing fuel capacity. It was also very LOUD.
Great day for flying and the commentary was very informative.

I saw a Spit last year at a re-enactment show here in the UK. As soon as that merlin reached the area the place went silent. Even today, a noise that iconic stops everything. Then he stated doing combat manoeuvres! I wish someone could have photo'd us, a group of Viking standing drooling over a Spitfire flying!
