“Oh? Fries too? Well, ain’t that peachy - this challenge is still a piece of cake! Mostly…”
His fate was sealed from the moment he accepted that challenge last year. Amazing that it’d been a year already - and what a year it’d been! A year of snugger shirts, of hurried excuses, of cancelled jogs, and of plentiful burgers… The ferret-cat’s metabolism was trying it’s darnedest to keep his worsening habits off his figure. Any illusions of thinness were woefully dashed when the measuring tape stretched across his soft, squishy stomach. He had a belly. A potbelly, even - of course, it wasn’t going to stay pot-sized for all, especially not with the offer of fries on the menu…

Here’s a traditionally inked gift sequence I did for my good friend Nickel-Cat_Engine back in April - it was a bit of an experiment to see how a traditional drawover sequence would work. If I remember correctly, all of these are straight-to-ink, which means I didn’t even fiddle with a sketch!
This was inspired by a fun, silly idea he had, and one that I absolutely love. While it’s a simple sequence, I’d say I had a lovely time making it. I hope you all enjoy!
