I’ll Have Uh… YCH - Buttercorn (5/6)
It defied logic.
“Hehe, hey, hey man! So, I know ya just gave me grub, but I’d like-“
It defied reason.
“Triple of everything right, big guy?”
His legs, under no circumstance, should be able to support that heaving, huffing, heaping heft of his. No way, no how. If an overfed pig looked at him, it’d oink in relief - at least it wasn’t that fat.
“You can ready me like a book!”
If a whale looked at him, it’d feel downright anorexic. An elephant would click its tongue if it saw the length of his average receipt. No one could call this guy - this… beast, a unicorn anymore… No…
“A phonebook, more like it - I’ll wheel out your heaps in a jiffy!”
He was pure, 100%, top grade buttercorn!

Here’s the sequence I based the latest YCH of mine off of - the blimping of the Buttercorn! This piece is based off of a silly, and absolutely adorable character created by my wonderful friend Nickel-Cat_Engine - he had the idea for a laid back, chill unicorn dude who’s gullible grin and careless appetite mix together perfectly to create the most devious of gaining situations for the dude.
Needless to say, I fell in love with the guy, and I simply needed to draw something involving him. Partially inspired by a prompt from Nickel-Cat_Engine , I put this sequence together, and truth be told, the drawings here were finished a month or two ago, so I am most excited to finally be sharing these with everyone. I hope you all enjoy this deliciously delightful buttercorn as much as I do!
