The snakeball has unballed. :D She's still a nervous little thing, you can see her posture here is kind of defensive. She's also pretty nippy, she tagged me when I picked her up. That's typical for baby rainbow boas. But I want to get her used to handling early, so I'll probably be getting bitten a lot. Thankfully her teeth are teeeeeeeeeeeeeeeny tiny. I have microscopic little fang marks.
Her name is Chromatic Scales, and we were trying to get a pic that showed her rainbow sheen, but sadly the camera ran out of batteries before we got a decent one. Battery is charging now, but I have put her back in her tank so she won't be unduly stressed. I'll see if I can get better pics next time I have her out.

*nods* A redtail is as large as I'd ever consider owning, really. Someday I may get one, but for now the rainbow is probably going to be my biggest. Once she's grown up anyhow. My others are a ball python, a corn, and a gopher, so no huge snakes here. And I've no clue where I'll put Chroma's tank once she's adult, there's no room for it now, but by then I should manage to work something out. :)
