I’ll Have Uh… YCH - Buttercorn (1/6)
He walked through the door. Your eyes honed in on him. He was the perfect catch.
“Can I get a uhh… Hmm… I’m not sure… What would ya recommend, my man?”
That small, but not quite trim, stomach of his - his scruffy, yet cute and relaxed body. That loose, laid back and exposing clothing of his. And, abovec all, that look in his eyes. So naive. So silly. So… hungry. You could work with that.
“Hmm… The small fry special is good for most newbies…”
The bait is cast - thank God for marketing and their delightfully deceptive naming practices. Most of them take a few more moments to dawdle and decide, but from the light rumble of his gut you can tell…
“Oh, cool - I’ll go with that!”
He fell for it. Hook - line - and…
“Excellent - three patties, two fries, and an XL tasty shake comin’ up!”
Sinker.
“Oh! That’s uh… awesome!”
Awesome’s right, “dude…” awesome’s very, very right…

Here’s the sequence I based the latest YCH of mine off of - the blimping of the Buttercorn! This piece is based off of a silly, and absolutely adorable character created by my wonderful friend Nickel-Cat_Engine - he had the idea for a laid back, chill unicorn dude who’s gullible grin and careless appetite mix together perfectly to create the most devious of gaining situations for the dude.
Needless to say, I fell in love with the guy, and I simply needed to draw something involving him. Partially inspired by a prompt from Nickel-Cat_Engine , I put this sequence together, and truth be told, the drawings here were finished a month or two ago, so I am most excited to finally be sharing these with everyone. I hope you all enjoy this deliciously delightful buttercorn as much as I do!
