While every werewolf gains a considerable amount of extra mass when they transform, an unknown quirk of Wesley’s particular strain of lycanthropy causes that mass to generate a bit differently for him - instead of muscle and bone, his body generates fat… a lot of fat. Nearly a quarter ton of it, in fact…
