two of the raptors on your back now, you make the choice to leap into the water. one of them falls off as you briefly go under the surface.
the is a swell as your Demon rushes up, its jaws slam down onto the swimming raptor with a thunderous clap. its small body vanishing from sight.
the raptor that still clung to your hide panics and lets go, desperately it seeks the safety of land as its brothers already flee from the lake. you feel the Demon pass under you, your feet kick against its armored hide as you continue to swim away from the danger.
another splash and clap of jaws and the last fleeing raptor is devoured as well in an instant.
the Demon circles you as you change course to go back to land. confident the danger has passed and the rest of them will not return. not after losing two of their pack to the Demon of the lake.
you see massive jaws open, teeth gently surround your tired body.
