tales of phantasia is...pretty alright. its plot is kind of by the numbers JRPG stuff, although there's some weird time travel stuff going on that kind of works in its favour. i played the PSX remake, which makes the battle system more robust than its original iteration, and thats where the real draw is for me. this pic's me cosplaying as the game's summoner character, claus/klaus/klarth f. lester! why do jrpg character designers make the characters have 4 billion accessories
