it is not exactly the way I imagined the situation would evolve but the effect is pretty much the same ... I should have guessed that Legion's homunculus was the true key for an attack against her mistress; that also explains why Acqua and Scorpio couldn't do any harm to the simulacrums.

I'm really glad to hear that you like it! The simulacrums are not really invulnerable, they are just resistant against what the girls are able to do right now. If Aqua had her hands free, she could blast them all with magic pretty easily, though she might be hesitant since she might still believe them to be controlled people.

I don't want to alchemistsplain, but linking your sense of pain to your remotely controlled homonculus seems like a poor design decision.

It is a bit of a risk but usually her homonculus is very difficult to detect and stays hidden all the time. Gemini is crazy stealthy when he wants to be and deadly so she had little time. Ultimately, you are not wrong but pride is a frequent weakness with villains.

By my count, Nightmare, Basilisk and Master Blaster. Ghoul left to confront Ramas, Razor bailed, Slaver and Wraith are TKOed, Jigsaw was last seen about to have the crap lasered out of him, Igneous got zapped by Leo, Saurus is going to get his ass beat in the next page, Hellhound is dead and now Legion's down for a ten count.

That's about what I had calculated. And of those 3 Master Blaster and Nightmare are the only ones who haven't really taken damage. Plus now the numbers game is against the villains.
