Return of the Quickpaint format!
With a group of friends we do a lot of Pathfinder 2e, and here's one of my characters: a tengu mixed tiefling tyrant (the lawful evil paladin), Nasir!
The story of this character is quite interesting, during the campaign I played him as a ranger with a powerful sabertooth animal companion, but at the end when our group was facing the BBEG in the middle of a town, an NPC opened a gate to hell under our feet (it happen sometimes) and while the other players were saved by their respective gods, granting them boons and making them the champions of their causes, my poor Nasir was too edgy to be saved x) So as he reached the end of the pit and landed in front of Asmodeus, the archdevil himself... After some negotiations, Nasir gave his soul in exchange that no innocent were harmed in the ongoing battle. The devil accepted and was quite prompt to put a leash on this poor bird. And once everyone returned to the material plane, we obliterated the BBEG x)
I never played him again since he became a paladin for the devil's cause, but I love the idea of the antihero giving up his soul to save everyone and once everything settles notice he is the only one who sacrificed all he has while his friend where just glowing with divine grace x) The resentment! The shame! How could they ask for power when he gave everything to save innocent people? So that's what he is now: Nasir, the eternal remnant of his friend's sin. Nasir, the one who gave his humanity while his comrades gorge themselves with power. Nasir, the ever resentful.
