These preserved Pennsylvania Railroad E8 passenger diesel locomotives, along with several Pennsy passenger cars, were brought into Chicago Union Station for National Train Day. These units began life on the PRR in the 1950s, made their way to Penn Central and then Conrail, where they finished their lives in 1999 running Conrail's executive trains. They have been repainted and restored as-new to Pennsy specs by a preservation group.
