But...all you did was wind up at "that enemy" that mostly just stands there and calls up defenders to fight for him. He wasn't the "real" boss and fooled you into walking away so the real foe could fight another day. If you went back to the entrance and found the little message behind the removable boulder, you'd have seen the carelessly dropped blueprints to "Big Boss Stag's Battle Rattlers" to see that Dr. Decoy wasn't really worth fighting.

oh but i did, and when i fought Dr Decoy, he give me the blue prints to fight Liquid and then solidus =P then finall big boss. after all.... i am a snake in the grass

You are good. The Doc was given a false message to convince you that you had just saved the world and to go consider yourself a hero. It had a forged signature from the president. But, an easter egg myth said that when you show Doctor Decoy the sword with his father's crest upon it, he is suppose to yield the real blueprints. And, it's also said this sword was suppose to be a hard sub-mission. Something about having to bounce off the walls of a small shaft over a hundred times, just to find the hidden room. Concept being that someone who can button mash with such perfect timing can easily tackle the second half of the game, where most of the walkways are missing and enemy AI is at least doubled, so as it doesn't just walk into you and die, some times. Good job!

Ah yes. Demon Deer Fortress. Gave Castlevania a run for its money, though those GODDAMN FLYING DEERS KNOCKING YOU INTO PITS WHEN YOU'RE TRYING TO JUMP GAPS. Ugh.

At least it let you jump off of stairs.
