Hey, it's Sam's dad, Jack! He's a very loving, protective, zany guy with no filter. He's getting up there in years, but he still is as devoted to his wife Hannah as he was when he met her over 30 years ago.
I've been meaning to draw Jack (and Hannah) for a while now, father's day was a good excuse. I do like the flourishes with the beard and moustache, but I had a very hard time getting the dark Bewear eyes to match over to an anthro one. I could have just gone for much more generic "mostly white eyes with a black pupil", but I really wanted to infuse as much 'Bewear-ness' into him as I could. Might come back and revisit this in the future...
Also, if you're curious, no, Jack doesn't kill people by hugging them, but that's because he's spent so many years practicing getting just the exact right level of hugging. He recognizes that if he hurts or kills people with them, he'll get fewer hugs in the long run (or um go to jail), so he's literally spent hours of time hugging punching bags as tightly as he can without exploding them.
