_History_
Salamandar first comes to scene when it kills a hunter, whip lashing him with his tongue and not long after, the Pollution squad comes to the village as the locals are in a uproar; seeking answers in the house of the local cop, they are surprise to see it full of farmers preparing the weapons and come to learn of Todd's death (the Hunter from before) and the monster that killed him, hearing the legend of the Evil One from an old woman.
As they pray for Todd, Salamandar comes to the village and kills a Tower watchman and the cop; with Gori watching the spectacle from the sidelines, he sends the beast to stomp and burn the village down. Some of the villagers make a stand with their weapons only to be burn alive; the Pollution team helps with the evacuation in anyway they can, but George is unable to contact Overlord due to the cloud cover and the destruction continues till nightfall, when a contingent of JSDF Jets attack the beast and are able to take it down with the surviving villagers and the team celebrating.
After the battle, the locals begin to clean up the debris; the Pollution team sought to establish a tent on a hill overlooking the site, when (and I dunno how the hell they missed this? - like really, zero excuse here, fellas) the hill begins to shake as it was Salamandar itself. John and Otto are tossed as it stands up, but Arthur and Margaret hold for dear life from the tent lines, with the Kaiju desperately trying to get them off. Overlord finally makes contact and George transforms into Spectreman.
Spectreman battles carefully, trying to rescue the two humans, but the monster kicks and bashes him with its tail. When Salamandar is able to pin Spectreman to the ground, it uses its Fire to melt and damage it eyes, leaving him blind. Taking their chance, Arthur and Margaret climb down of the monster and reunite with the others. The hero is force to use his hearing to pin point his enemy's location, but the monster tramples Spectreman, beaten him onto the ground, and while able to toss the beast a few time, Spectreman falls down the mountain; stock in a not so optimal situation, he is force to retreat. Celebrating a major victory over his foe, Gori sends Salamandar to continue its path of destruction, with the other members of the Pollution following it. Along the way, the monster comes under attack by a division of the JSDF, just as the team finds a blind George and take him to the hospital – much to his refusal.
Salamandar decimates the JSDF and the situation only gets worst as the Hospital is been evacuated as the beast heads to the city. In the ordeal, George slips from the others trying to get to the outside to contact Overlord, forcing his friends to search the Hospital grounds for him. Along the way George meets a man with a crutch in a state of fear and a very dutiful nurse. Once outside, George has contact with Overlord, informing him to recover his eyesight he must expose himself to the strong electrical impulses of High Voltage wires before he is then taken by the Nurse, leading him and the other patient to a safe place.
As the Monster destroys a castle, George has a brief conversation about the nurses motive's to be of help to her patients and be there for them; In that moment, they come to learn from the crutch patient a girl was left in the room he was staying. Dutiful to her call, she runs back to the Hospital much against the warning of both George and patient. With the monster now approaching the hospital, she meets up with Arthur and Margaret, who tag along to get the child as Salamandar tears the building apart; the nurse separates from them due to the falling debris, cutting the path but John and Otto arrive to provide help. They catch up to Nurse with the Child in hand and attempt their escape. Not wanting to sit idle, George contact Overlord and transforms into Spectreman; using the sound of the monster's roar, he reaches the site.
With Gori eager to see his nemesis taken down, Round two begins with Salamandar grabbing Spectreman with its tongue and tosses him through the building and has him pinned on the floor; this allows the Nurse with the Child and George's friends to escape. Spectreman tosses the Monster away and drops to the floor to track it by sound, but the monster thinking ahead, stays quiet, approaching Spectreman in silence, yet the Cyborg perceive it and reacts, avoiding his fire breath. The Monster then tries to stomp the Hero, but fails as Spectreman topples him more than once, then cuts him with the Spectre Cutters. After been smack by the beast, then burn a bit more in the face, he uses his Nebula Slice on him.
Finally, when in a standoff with it, George smacks onto High Voltage Power Lines, but is covered in fire, forcing him to fly to thick clouds to extinguish the flames; he then lands searching for the voltage wires under the guide of the Overlord, but Salamandar smacks him with his tongue; trying to reach a conclusion to the fight, Spectreman tides the whole tongue into one knot and shoves it literally down his throat, then dives with its face straight to the power lines, getting a shocking fix up that helps him recover his sight.
With the fortune of battle having turn, to Gori's horror, he can only watch as Spectreman takes the full advantage in the battle and beats the Kaiju down, finally tossing him away and dispatching him with Spectre Flash. A furious Gori smacks his control console in anger, causing it to short circuit by the impact. As the Crutch patient reunites with the other, Nurse praises the efforts of the the Pollution team for their help and or course, for Spectreman.
