A member of the omnivorous fauna. Peaceful.
Body length is 5 meters. Height at the withers is 3.5 meters. Found in Kolutos, in the area of mountainous lowlands.
They lead a solitary, wandering life.
Eat whatever they find, preferring to dig up food from under the ground, snow or ice. Do not hunt.
The front legs are protected by dense leathery shields, as are the back and tail. There is a hump on the back, designed to store biological, energy reserves.
The claws on the front paws are very strong.
Possess a keen sense of smell, which allows them to find food in the most inaccessible places.
They are hardy and resilient creatures, which is why they are often found in the extremely harsh and snowy regions of Kolothus. In warmer temperate areas, the Phatars come to raise their young.
During the mating season, which occurs once every 3 years, to find a mate, Phatars make special sounds that can be heard only by members of their species, at quite an impressive distance.
Egg-laying. The female always lays one egg. Hatching and further nurturing of the cub, the care of both parents, for a year and a half.
Males differ from females by a much more impressive hump.
