We all know the story of Adam and Eve... some of us also know the story of Lilith. Yet if you were to meet this guy, he'd claim differently. This mysterious man, with skin similar to clay and snake-like things attached to his body, says HE was the first human made by God, but fell to a curse.
Wandering the world, Hiram claims he was made first, but was too rebellious in his desire to take the Fruit of Knowledge. Turned into a snake, he got around it by convincing Eve to eat it in his stead. After this, he was then turned into a full-on clay statue, frozen for eons until he one day awoke. It seems that Eve's actions imparted small fractions of divine power throughout every human born, and now he seeks to reclaim that to return to his full human form.
While he appears mostly human, it seems the snakes actually are his true sensory organs, which is why one is always hovering around his head to act as his eyes. Strangeness aside, he is very charismatic and gentle, and knows how to use his snakes to pleasure people while also finding and copying the divine sparks inside their bodies.
Whether he ever becomes fully human remains to be seen, but it is unlikely given the sheer vastness of the population.
