I thought I might do something different for Memorial Day.

As a vet myself, I can very much appreciate the sacrifices individuals like your father had to make during WWII. While times and political situations may have changed, the brave men and women who put it on the line every day in far away places are not that much different now as then... Great picture and thank you for sharing.

0.o I never really realized how BIG it was until you posted that pic... I did my military duties on 20mm anti-aircraft guns, and they look like toys compared to that...
I never understood how some people were that motivated to chose sacrificing themselves in another country for peace, but I surely often think about them and thank them the way I can each time.
