In Beast Society, those who posses the mysterious power known as "Nen" are extremelly valued. Nearly all beastars are Nen users, and even those who don;t go on to become beastars are in a privileged position thanks their unique powers.
Legoshi, however, never wanted to be a Nen user, respected, admired, feared and envied by ordinary beasts. He just wanted to be a normal wolf, and live an ordinary life.
