My Great Grandfather, Lord Herbert White, was an avid explorer back in the days when putting other people's things in museums was a good idea.
His last trip was to some deep, dark African region where he fell, exhausted outside a small village.
He was welcomed with smiles and laughter: although, as he found out, there was nothing funny about it.
