Fallen into a deep slumber hoping all was but a horrible nightmare, Neeva's only respite from the agony of her body. Her mind was drowned into the void before reality suddenly pulled her back into the waking world, an incoming call from Merry. She jolted out of bed '' SHIT!! I forgot we planned something today!'' she yelled quickly dressing up, charging towards the park as she take the call.



'' hh..hhi Merry im close sorry my mind was in the clouds!!'' Merry chuckled '' Oh no worries friend, is everything alright?'' before Neeva could reply she quickly braked about an inch from getting rammed by a passing car '' FUCK!!.. I mean we'll talk when im there Merry see ya soon!''.




Her exercise only worsen her pain as the moment she finally caught up to Merry, forcing a natural smile proved extremely challenging. The pleasant talk slightly eased the sensations however her false smile failed to deceive Merry who guided her to a nearby bunch.




Grabbing some leftover bread from her shop Merry fed the birds as it was a routine she and the critters enjoyed, Neeva's entire body shook as she began to hold her head in distress. Merry trying to console her gently rubbed her back '' do you wish to talk about it , dear?''.





She hesitated for a few seconds before the guilt took over '' i fucking lost my mind... Im in so much damn pain and no one wants to fucking help me! '' get away Scavs'' they always scream at me... I just wanted some damn meds for my cyber enhancement but the fucking doc was too scared of his FUCKING REPUTATION to even give me any! I tried to kill him but failed... i blanked out''.




Merry unsured how she could help as she has never installed any cyberware on herself asked '' Could i perhaps buy you some? Maybe i could talk to the doc and apologize on your behalf'' Neeva shook her head '' NO!!... Sorry i did not meant to yell at you... Just don't go where i set foot, you'll get killed or used as ransom'' .




She nodded and smiled, gently holding Neeva,s chin and pulled it facing her way '' How about a nice meal? My shop is about to open, something on the house. Hope it can help a little '' Neeva nodded weakly as she felt tissues wiping off her tears.
