This picture actually had kind of a funny story behind it XD We had been planning on taking a class trip to the wildlife refuge to do a scenery drawing for a long time, but the weather had been horrible so we kept having to put it off...When we finally managed to get to go, it was quite windy...Our teacher said we could go anywhere we wanted as long as we didn't go too far, so I headed back to the visitor's center! XD I took up this nice little corner spot behind a couple of walls, so I was sitting out on the deck where there was hardly a breeze! <3 It was actually fairly warm, too! So I got a bird's eye view of not only what I was drawing, but of everyone else freezing their asses off and fighting with their paper as the fog blew in and they all got damp and cold XD
Done in chalk pastels...I'd actually gotten better with them by this point because I saw somebody else's work with them and realized you don't have to smudge EVERYTHING! XD

That's good XD He could beat someone's ass if they got too close! Or at least help you run away XD
I have to take fieldtrips every week practically in my Natural History class too....Just I usually end up doing a lot of the driving and stuff because I give rides to people...x3 So...Kinda sucks for my gas tank XD At least it's almost over!!! ^^
