Motherhood at all stages is freaking hard.
I'm one to talk; as a male myself, I can only watch from the outside. I don't personally experience the difficulties my mate goes through on a daily basis.
But I also can see that there are moments that make it all worth it.
During pregnancy, there are so many things to worry about. But on occasion, when she feels that movement of new life in her, she just knows. She knows no matter what, things will be all right in the end.
We cannot have transcendent moments all the time; but as long as we treasure them as they come, life has just enough wonder to inspire us to keep going.
