This was a bit of a stretch. South Park normally doesn't have much to do with mythology. However, South Park: Phone Destroyer does have a few Mystical cards based on Greek mythology characters.
I mentioned that I made Dionysus/Bacchus this series' mascot because the ancient Greeks and Romans had parties dedicated to him where they defied the laws of gender and sexuality. I thought it would be fun to have Stan as "Poseidon Stan" and Kenny as "Hermes Kenny" try to throw a party like that for their gay friends. At least they're trying to be good allies.
Not sure how Stan and Kenny found out about those parties, but considering the world they're in, they probably read about that in a Percy Jackson book. Considering the South Park universe has a raunchy Fat Albert parody, a "Stop Touching Me Elmo" toy, an evil, corporate Mickey Mouse, and an episode where Foofa from Yo Gabba Gabba becomes a porn star, I wouldn't be surprised if that universe's version of the Percy Jackson books actually delved into Greek mythology's more adult aspects, as opposed to toning things down for kids. Maybe one of those books has a scene where Mr. D hosts a party right in Camp Half-Blood, and Nico and Will dress in drag, get drunk, and have wild sex.
