Well, as promised, I am uploading the epic sketch that I did at 4 AM this morning that actually turned out good enough for me to like. Aside from the sketch I did of Swifti in 2005, this is the first bit of art I ever did that I am proud of despite it's flaws.
So here's the story, it's 4 AM and I am bored. So I finally sat down and decided to start by drawing a fox head. I didn't even get the paper out when I decided to instead try a Gamefly game that has been sitting on my desk for a week and a half. Game didn't work. Made a pizza and popped the game back in after cleaning it and it still didn't work. Ate the pizza and went back to art since the game didn't work :p
I started, originally wanting to do a fox head. After half way through the head I decided to make her a Raccoon. After finishing the head I drew her fluffy chest fur. After that the shoulders, and before I knew it I had a full bodied pic of a Canineish Raccoon girl that actually was kind of hot (IMO). I did rush towards the end, the paws I tried making sort of a combo between fox and raccoon and after many failures I just threw them together as what they are. I don't like the paws. The tail I am somewhat okay with but would like to improve on. The hind section and her shoulders too, but otherwise I am happy with the improvements and hope to continue improving.
I may very well use this fem as a medium and inspiration for other art. She might even be used for the first bit of mature art I've done since 2002 if I am accurate. She'd look cute doing stuff to herself ;)
Though I already pointed out my flaws, constructive criticism is appreciated, but unless you've got something helpful to offer, I know where I need to improve on, so let's be considerate here. I'm going to attempt and shove drawing into my life now while working 12 hours a day, so patience please :)

Critique, eh? Well, let's see. She needs to have her hind legs a bit longer, as try to imagine her standing up, she would not be able to move very well. So, try to make her hind legs a bit longer.
She needs some joints on her front legs, as they tend to bulge out a little in that position.
Her muzzle aside her face looks a tad flat... You should apply some perspective to her eyes, as that would help a lot, I'll show ya on MSN sometime if you'd like. its mostly using a circle, though.
From her chest down it does not look like that's lined up with the head, shoulders, and front legs. You could move her chest down to the left a bit and you'd be fine.
Not bad for just getting back into drawing, though.

I notice that you're taking after your sis's style when you're drawing the head. ^^;;;
Honestly Darfy, no bullshitting here. This is a rather quality pic. Though it doesn't follow perspective that most people would look for it passes on other forms of art where such things aren't exactly a necessity.
But I note that this is not where you want your style to stop. So to critique on a more realistic aspect, which I'm sure your goal is; perspective on eyes definitely as Infinity suggested. Hind legs, I'm not sure as I'm not a good artist myself. I think they look short, but I'm not sure if that's the limits of 2D kicking in.
Yeah, don't listen to me, I don't know what I'm talking about. xP I'm as good of an artist as you are and need as much help. lol xP
In the end, I still love the pic non-the-less. Now if you can just add a dash of color I would fav it. ^-^
