In Japan, there a few areas that remained untouched by the 21st century. The underground forest of The Amakura Clan in such a place. Despite being "isolated" from the rest of Japanese society, they are not true hermits. The clan is often contacted by the government to deal with cases that were beyond the authorities. Cases that dealt with the paranormal, the supernatural, and even the extraterrestrial. It was many years ago, that the matriarch Tsumire "Raimei" Amakura found the infant Jetta after she and her fellow shinobi vanqiushed several oni that plagued a nearby town. Tsumire saw a strange woman holding a baby wrapped in cloths. The wounds on her body indicated she was trying to protect the child. The woman approached Tsumire and told her to protect Jetta and raised her as she was her own. The woman coughed up bluish-green blood, which indicated to Tsumire that she was a youkai (demon), and the youkai said that Jetta is a hanyou, born of a human father and a female demon. The wounded youkai was the midwife. Jetta's father was killed before she was born and Jetta was to fed by to the oni at the moment of her birth. Jetta's mother told the midwife to flee with the child to the human world, where she would be safe. Tsumire was told that Jetta will be a stranger to both worlds for hanyou are seen as useless to both humans and demons.

Tsumire merely laughed and said "Really, is that a fact? Then we'll prove them wrong. I'll train her to be strong so she won't be seen as useless to anyone." The midwife smiled and said to Tsumire that Jetta's mother wanted her to embrace her human side and with that she breathed her last. Tsumire indeed raised the child. She was very strict yet loving like a mother should be, training the young girl in ninjitsu and other arts.Jetta had a natural affinity for plants for when she sings or even breathes to the flowers, they would blossom. It would seem that Jetta lived a "normal" life amongst the Amakura, until she reached her late teens. She would be plagued by dreams of having sexual encounters with men and then killing them. Jetta explained the meaning of these dreams to Tsumire. "It would seem your youkai side is awakening and is seeking dominance", the aged kunoichi replied. Jetta was told of her true origins and decided that it was time to search for her birth mother. As the hanyou bid farewell to the clan that raised her, Tsumire warned her that will be times that she will be completely human at times, but etJta can adjust and adapt to this handicap. Jetta heads out into a world where anything can and will happen.


Strengths: Jetta is stronger than the average human, is exceptionally skilled at ninjitsu and other martial arts, she's also a strategist, trying to find the best solution to a problem. Has plant-based abilities similar to Poison Ivy from Batman and Kurama from Yu Yu Hakusho. Her main weapon is a ninjatou called "Uzume". One scratch is enough to take down most enemies because hidden in the blade are tiny seeds that grow inside the enemy's blood and take them out from within. Accelerated but limited healing abilities.

Weaknesses: Can revert to human form during sunspot events. Unlike Inuyasha, Jetta will fight back. She just has to be extra careful. This weakness may actually be boon for she can gain access to areas where her hybrid form can't. She also has conflicts with her "youkai" half. In truth, Jetta is a virgin and hasn't been intimate with anyone. Not demons and humans will try to kill her. Some will try to get her in bed with them.

Physical Appearance: At first glance Jetta appears as an average Japanese woman with neck-length dark brown hair. However, heartbeat is much different than a human's. Another indicator that she is a hybrid is that her eyes will turn orange when a supernatural or paranormal entity is nearby and kanji-like markings will appear on her body. As the story progress, viewers will see more of Jetta's change.
