I love you silly little Americans.
You come up to my land in the middle of a summer heat wave wondering where all the snow is, then you join us for a nice spring day only to freeze to death because you somehow forgot we're closer to the arctic circle than you are XD
its like plus 20 outside right now. Yet sadly, my mom's place, which is only 5 hours south of me, is like plus 40. I go down there and come home and it could be heatstroke weather and I freeze.

I envy your coldness up there. There should never be a day over 80 imo, but the South tends to disagree with me. XP

celcius. we're having a nice spring.
last time i went to see mom it was 45C outside. Spent the whole time in dad's room huddled up near the AC. but you get used to it FAST. Then you come back to a nice 15-25 that used to seem hot to you and omfg COLD >_<
the air is cleaner down there too. right in the mountains instead of right near a power plant like i am. T_T

Also, I don't get used to hot... I was thoroughly miserable all of last summer when we had 30 C for a month. Doubly so because we have humid heat... And A/Cs are rarity in private apartments because we almost never need them. Though I imagine that will slowly change. Since 2000s we've had some of the hottest summers in a century and the trend doesn't seem like it'll buck any time soon due to global warming.
