Valencia is the mob boss of the beach town, and not someone to be in her bad graces. While no one who disrespected her has ever ‘disappeared’ per se, cases of severely beaten pokemon were not at all a rare thing to discover early mornings. And the beatings have proven to be effective at keeping most thugs at bay of their nefarious business. She is good at what she does, committed and diligent with her organization. She also manages to be rarely seen out in public but when she is, you bet the townspeople who know who she is are particularly nice to her. She also has a knack at requiting strong pokemon who feel alone and shunned by society, ultimately becoming a mother-like figure in their life as she takes care of her underlings, such as McKayla, Yennifer, and Baozi who don't feel like they fit in anywhere.

The odds of getting to know Valencia at a personal level is little to none, but the pokemon who do get to see her tender side will see a gentle and thoughtful mabosstiff. She likes reading, keeps her entertained while she waits for business to happen regarding her and when she’s alone she enjoys the art of flower arrangement, something her mother had taught her long ago. You could say she’s rather old fashioned or traditional, but that’s what keeps Valencia strong willed and fair when she makes decisions. She never makes a fatal mistake, and her sense of justice is strong. Despite being a leader of a crime ring, the pokemon who knows her question if she’s really mob boss material.

Rumor has it that Valencia and her group has been hired by the founding family of the beach town and are in cahoots, to keep something big happening hidden out of sight of the townsfolk. While no one can ultimately prove it, majority citizens wouldn’t dream to dirty Darienne and Bianca’s family image by such thoughts…

Though, if it were to be true, why on earth would the founding family be working with the mafia…?
