That is some seriously impressive use of black ink! If you lived in Florida like I did growing up, downpours during thunderstorms were to be expected almost every afternoon for at least 5 months. But some of those downpours lasted all of 5 minutes!

I remember when I visited Florida, it rained every day, but just for short spurts here and there. But my friend said to always expect it, even if it was a short storm.

I once went to Typhoon Lagoon with my summer camp and rode all of one waterslide before all the rides were closed due to thunderstorms. The plans were quite literally rained out that day, thankfully that was the only time it ever happened to me at a Disney water park. Blizzard Beach is way cooler anyhow, no pun intended!

I’ve yet to go to one of the Disney water parks. My wife comes from a family that went to Disney a lot, so she tells me stories. It would be fun to try sometime.

As a kid I had the wonderful privilege of living just an hour and a quarter away from Walt Disney World, and getting to go on countless trips there, with both my family and with just my dad, well into my teen years. My last trip to WDW was just before I turned 20, and I got to spend 5 days and 5 nights there by myself! That included a trip to Blizzard Beach on day one. Sadly, the Disney parks experience has degraded terribly since then, and some of my favorite rides are either gone or drastically altered. Ironically, the water parks have barely been messed with in decades, and would be the best time you could possibly spend at all of the WDW resort right now.
