It goes into Open Beta on the 18th. I've been doing a bit of Closed Beta since I was finally able to correct the graphical glitch that crashed the game on startup for freaking month. Feels strange going back to it.

You might be able to get in there a little earlier by signing up for the newsletter. I think the last blog entry said they'd be adding 40,000 more people til open beta started, that was on the 2nd.

And yeah, GamersFirst has a better handle on hackers (which is to say aimbotters mostly) than Realtime Worlds did, starting with actually turning Punkbuster ON. Amazing what that can do lol.

I'm so looking forward to this game, already have at least one other player I'm teaming up with (Enforcers) I'm just hoping that I can hit anything, my aim is usually pretty bad but the starting rifle looks pretty good

Learning the aim takes a bit, but it's not super demanding...I don't know if they've actually implemented real hitboxes yet or if it's still just one giant hitbox. You might just be find aiming for the torso and pumping bullets their way.

If it plays well, I'll be getting it.

Other than that, demo/beta helping and making your life a mess by causing all the crimes you are called in to quell.
