Male (darker) and female (lighter) Giant Leaf Tailed geckos. These guys are super mellow and sweet, and so gorgeous. They change colors at the drop of a hat and are so fascinating. Love them!
They were bought for me by my mate
VeniceFox for my birthday. :) Along with a diamond promise ring! I'm spoiled... <3

I don't mind the price, I paid over $400 for a Leachianus gecko, although I don't care much for the wild caught. I feel like it would be a miserable life for an animal that is used to being wild and free and then put in a tank that restricts them :(. Don't get me wrong I'm sure you are caring for them well, but just I feel like they'd be terrified and depressed.
We always prefer C/B over W/C.. However, they don't seem terrified or depressed and finding a C/B uro is IMPOSSIBLE. However, I do understand where you're coming from. Taking anything out of its natural habitat can be somewhat of a depressing thought, but also think of the positives- when a species is properly cared for in captivity; not only do they thrive beautifully, but they also usually live ALOT longer. There are pro's and con's to both being wild and caged I guess..
Hopefully we can successfully breed these two and perpetuate a colony of C/B leafies! They're totally rad! If you like the new caledonian giant geckos you'll love these guys! Very similar personalities. I would love to have a leachie- theyre so fat and cute and adorable!

<3 if you can breed the leaftails I will definitely buy from you, and I don't mind spending some money to get one. I do know some animals that have come from the wild. I still feel bad for them as individuals. But one of these days I plan to build some really large terrariums, probably 200-300 gallons at least. Especially for Bob because he is still growing. I wish my cresteds would get along better so I could put them together in a large terrarium, but haven't been able to find a pair or trio yet that will get along >.< durn little grumpbutts.
But anyway, ya. I definitely will keep my eyes open for an opportunity to get a couple of these guys and would love to attempt to breed them as well, sounds like it could be very profitable.
