Commentary:
This is the second time I've had Rikku steal the weapon from someone with his Object Rise power. The last time was with Usaro, and it was just about as easy then as it was here. In chapter 14, Usaro had his wood control power (name pending) aiding him in keeping the grip, but he was also two exhausted to keep it up. Margrethe doesn't have control of her own bone club like Usaro would for his wooden hammers, and she's also not as exhausted as Usaro was.
So it's pretty much even, especially since she ends up surrendering it anyway. Better that then to get hit with your weakness.
