Raccoon girl on her way to the beach, -
sees someone she likes up ahead - and feels a bit shy.
Inspired by the island raccoons who sometimes parade by on my back porch late at night. They give me funny looks
too...
The basic drawing is about ten years ago, but her torso was sort of odd, so i redid it recently in Painter. Background style is a homage to Vaughn
Bode.
There is a sister drawing to this to follow.
approx 8 1/2 x 6 inches
Sakura Micron pens
Painter X
PaintshopPro VII for frame
i cut the frame off this so the drawing would show larger - it's already so shrunk that a lot of the lines are smudgy. For the full version at 3498 x 2770
suitable to print out go to my dA acct:

...and the rest of her!
On the Canadian west coast island i live on there are racoons, deer, bald eagles, herons, otters, dolphins, orcas, etc etc...There's a big glass double door on my studio to a deck, and once in awhile a raccoon will wander over it late at night! :) Once a whole troop of raccoons (a family i guess) paraded bye much to my astonishment!
