she is an Australian lady and former nurse that rescues hurt and or in trouble gray headed flying foxes and black flying foxes (and some micro bats). She also rescues lost and or in trouble juvenile bats that as she puts it (have not gotten their flying licenses yet) and occasionally fosters orphaned baby flying foxes and raises them until they are ready to go to creche and learn to be social bats for release. She is a bit eccentric but her heart is in the right place and she does a ton of good for the flying fox population in the Sydney area of Australia.
