(Edit: I meant to upload this commission after Pride Month out of respect, but I ended up submitting this on the first day of it due to me being forgetful. My bad! Still, I hope you all like this, anyway!)

"Mecha Sonic didn't deserve kindness. That's what the machine thought as he slumped against the wall. He had succeeded in destroying Sonic, but he had lost everything in the process. He had lost his creator (Dr. Robotnik). He had lost his brothers (Orbot and Cubot). He had lost his sister (Sage). All he had gained was the scorn of everybody in Mobius. Now, after being transported to a new world, he felt like worthless trash. The rain continued to pound against his metallic body...
But the rain would suddenly stop. Pretty soon, Mecha Sonic would find himself looking into the kindest eyes he had ever seen. This mobian feline had dropped everything to make sure he was alright, even extending her hand to help him up. He didn't think he was worthy of this kindness, but she insisted on helping him back on his feet, especially after she noticed how hurt he was.
As he was led to a place where he could be repaired, Mecha Sonic felt like there was a pleasant warmth growing in his circuitry. He still couldn't believe somebody could care for him like this. Before they had to part ways, he'd also get her name: Ebony.
As he went into recharge mode, he would remember that name fondly...and hope that, perhaps, he would see her again."
