When you're already so big you're a planet in your own right, you already know you've won. Slap a paw on the planet at this size, it's gonna be extinct within the hour. This is far from your first growth spurt, you know how it goes.
So the time comes to be creative, and draw in the world's populace with nothing more than your breath - underestimating that the whole tectonic plate would shatter with the atmosphere into that continent-sized maw.
A bit more destructive than the squirrel expected, but no less enjoyable. It wasn't his problem to deal with, after all~

Such a fun piece, and certainly a creative apocalypse.
Gotta make a spectacle out of it! But give them enough time to stew on their fate and maybe have some fun. My experience dealing with pre-industrial worlds has shown me how fun it is to let them work themselves into a frenzy before their extinction.
