To round out day 31 of MerMay I decided to switch things up by making both a MerMay drawing and a Year of the Dragon pic for May, and in this drawing I decided to draw Finley from Indigo Park (I know he's a sea serpent, but given his size I do think he's a dragon of sorts). I was pretty happy when I stumbled upon Indigo Park since I find myself invested in the game's story and wanting to know what happens next, it's one of the few mascot horror games I've seen in a while that I think has potential, and I'm excited to see what the creator has in store for later parts of the game. But onto the reptile of the hour- Finley, while he barely appeared in the first part of the game, the small appearance he makes near the end of that chapter leads me to believe he's going to play a much bigger role in the next chapter. The creator of Indigo Park states that Finley is one of his favorite characters, and it isn't hard to see why, given his voice and social awkwardness he reminds me of Eeyore from Winnie the Pooh. Though with that being said, I've officially completed MerMay, and marked another month off of my Year of the Dragon project, stay safe as we contintue to go through this year.
