Beginning last year, Campanelli Stadium has gone cash-less; for buying tickets and concessions and souvenirs, you now either need a debit/credit card, or you can use this "reverse ATM" machine they supply to convert your cash into a ticket-like card to be used at the stadium! Last year, we even filmed a little promo featuring K-O (me) using the machine...

This reminds me a lot of the "Garfield and Friends" episode "Cash and Carry" where John has cut up his credit cards after Garfield abused them and vows to pay only with cash, yet when he goes to a new shopping mall to buy a new wastebasket, he finds to his dismay that none of the merchants know what cash is and only take credit cards!

I am reminded of a funny short film, "The Undebt", which featured credit card users reacting to a person who uses cash as if she was a monster! They even fend her off with those doohickeys they used to use with credit cards to make the receipt, and finish her off by placing a gold credit card on her heart!
