What struck me about the original Captain Jack series was the way you took a light-weight, rather silly comic and allowed it to grow towards an ending that was both meaningful and moving. In that final issue, when Jack bursts away from the desk, runs to the front door and then... stands there, in silence, and does nothing -- I've always kept that moment in mind as an example of just how surprisingly honest and real a funny animal story could be.

Thank you for that ending.
