I've always seen pit bulls do this in videos and pictures, but I've never actually witnessed it IRL. Most pitties I've met in person have been waaayyy too laid back. :I
However, I used to know a border collie who would start biting the bark off of trees if you said "squirrel!" Also, my Jack Russell used to bite and hold things with such an iron grip you could lift her off the floor and even spin her around in the air. She doesn't do it anymore since she is getting a little older and I imagine it hurts her to do so now. :x
Gypsy and Umah are gorgeous as always :)

Gypsy is typically pretty laid back. She has like a go switch, lol. She'll be just fine lazing about on the couch, then boom! Switch is thrown and she is high wired.
She will pick random trees every now and then, and I honestly don't know why she was going at this particular tree. Usually there is some animal living in, under, or around the tree but I couldn't find evidence of any of that, lol.
She loves her spring pole, and and she loooves jumping and grabbing branches like that, but since she is getting older and she has a bad back, I don't allow her to do things like this very much at all anymore.

Ha, thats Gypsy too. You can see the raw spot on the tree limb just on the other side of her head, there had been a smaller branch offshoot there that she grabbed and hung onto until it broke off...but she always spits out the smaller pieces and goes back for more.
Now, on her spring pole, her main goal is to get the rope/toy/tire off. When she does, she will take off dragging it away, very proud.
