"Black Plague" is a nameless ascendant given this title by means unknown. It is legendary among other ascendants and feared in the mortal layers, with good reason. Devildogs eat human flesh. Ascendants eat the soul too.

This ascended devildog isn't one for conversation. Should you see it in your yard, you should lock all doors and windows, and nest yourself inside a room. Preferably within a smaller compartment or around corners, to prevent it reaching inside and taking you.

Do not approach, do not attempt to converse, do not hesitate. Avoid sudden motions and back away slowly and evenly until you can hide yourself. Running will prompt it to run too.
