Pardon me if this is weird, but I saw and followed your art back in what I think was 2006 or so on DeviantArt, and I was always impressed with your art then. I stopped using DA ages ago and was shocked and thrilled to see you here in FA, and seeing your art now is just stunning and incredible. The way your style's changed, your use of color, body positivity, sense of fun and expression is a lovely bright spot.

I'd point to the "Holy shit two cakes" meme when you feel like your art isn't up to snuff, because it absolutely still blows my mind and I'm glad you keep drawing every day.

You're far from alone on that feeling

I can empathize with the feeling. I follow a handful of writers who's works I enjoy reading. However, these same writers produce content with themes similar to the works I produce. On some level, there is the urge to compare myself to them (followers and faves/comments on works). I try to remind myself that they are at a different point on the experience curve than I am. As such, any direct comparisons aren't apples to apples. In general, I do ok at ignoring the numbers, but they're such a seductive way of trying to measure yourself.
