One summer morning in Hometown, Toriel Dreemurr was in the middle of setting up something that nearly every suburban family has to cool off on those hot days, an inflatable pool! With just a bike pump and some patience, you could have an easy(if slightly shallow) place to cool off when hanging out in the sun~

...Only issue is, something wasn't right. As Toriel kept pumping and pumping, the pool didn't seem to inflate one bit, no matter how hard she tried, it wasn't working! This frustrated her, wondering if the pool had perhaps burst a seam whilst it was in storage...little did Toriel know that something WAS inflating...but it wasn't the pool~

Whether it was a freak accident, a prank by one of her children, or an anomaly bending space for the stranger, there was a second hose hooked up to the pump...one that went straight into Toriel's ear~ With every pump, the air wasn't going into the pool, but rather her own head! At first, it was fairly subtle, a slight feeling of lightheadedness, and a slight, almost bobblehead-like expansion. But as she pumped more and more furiously, her head grew only sillier and more cartoonish~ Her cheeks swelled and engulfed her snout and mouth, her ears and horns ballooned up into globes, and her eyes bulged out of their sockets, becoming two XXL beachballs sitting atop her poofy cheeks~

She kept pumping and pumping, either out of desperation, unable to stop with how airheaded she was, or she was genuinely THAT oblivious as to why she felt so lightheaded, why she could hear creaking and groaning coming from all directions, why her vision kept getting "taller"~

Who knows what would happen once she found out?~ Perhaps she'd be embarrassed and flustered over just how much her head had swelled...or maybe she would be proud of it, flaunting her parade float face around like the crown jewel it deserved to be revered as~
