2071 A 'terror bat' photo.

"What's this? O_o..." Asked the man looking at the photo card, where a young girl with an innocent face, smiling happily, was looking at the camera holding a big terror bat with nails in her hands.
"It's nothing..." Said Madeline, taking the photo card from his hands.
"When my mother left me with my father, the other girls teased me at school. And my Dad said 'That I should be able to protect myself in this cruel world', and he made this for me...
I know he tried, - although his methods... I know, he sucks in raising kids. " Reluctantly answered the woman.
"Yes, you told me. He was a CDF sergeant?" Said Mark, and Madeline sadly nodded looking at him.
"Everything is fine my love, no matter who you were or what you did, I will never stop loving you." Said the husband, hugging and kissing his wife.

Mark was worried but noticed with great relief that the woman calmed down, and the tip of her tail began to wag contentedly.
He really didn't care who she was before. He loved her for who she was now, and he hoped that they would love each other in their happily ever after.
