The Kalanova is the rifle, and the '64 isn't in our word's history...

Okay, this one took forever to colour. The drawing was from ten or more years ago. The colour was bit by bit, set it aside for a few months, add or change a bit...It's been done for a month or so, but i still wasn't sure if something else wouldn't jump at me that called out to be changed...
If your monitor isn't balanced the darks and lights on this won't read well. Or try down loading it and using the slide-show setting to get rid of bright white areas on the screen...i'll post a low-contrast version of this soon...
...but i haven't posted a lame light version yet..i like having a wide range between black and white :)

No. Gadget wasn't anywhere in my brain at the time - i might have seen here once or twice passing by a TV my kids had on.
Over-all the drawing is derived from a mash-up of styles:
Vaughn Bode, Steve Gallacci, Terrie Smith, and Michele Light
(that describes a lot of my stuff, usually with a bit of Mucha, Moebius, Dean,Kaluta, etc tossed in as well).
Who she looks a bit like to my eye now is Sho-Nuff's char Squeek (who i hadn't seen way back then...).
Last year i finally got around to doing some sketches of Gadget. At least one will eventually get done as a finished piece, could be in a couple months, maybe a couple years as i've under taken doing a rather daunting graphic novel...i'll need some break time while working on it, so...maybe sooner maybe later. :)
